Work's been a bit busy the past couple days, but luckily there's a pretty endless supply of Hawaii photos to draw from. This spider is about half an inch wide. Any spider experts out there what kind it is?

Superstition Mountains

The Superstition Mountains make a reappearance, as we took a nice drive around them earlier today. This shot was taken from just inside Lone Dutchman State Park, which has some nice hiking and camping.

Yesterday was Chris' 25th birthday, and after going out to dinner, we had a bunch of people over to our place for dessert and a beverage or two. Taking full advantage of the convenience of my new printer, I put an 8x10 print of this photo in a nice frame and put it up on the wall before everyone's arrival. It took a good 30 minutes of everyone hanging out before finally, while on my way to the kitchen, I hear Chris say "hey wait a second, is that picture over there of me?"

Now we just need some candles and some newspaper clippings to complete our shrine.
