Golden Gate Bridge II

It's a bit tough to tell if this is a great photo just looking at my laptop screen. I'll have to check it out later on a real monitor. I'm back in Phoenix now after a 10-day cross-country tour, and have much laundry to do. My dreams, and corresponding Lewfoto postings, will still be of San Francisco for at least a few more days.

Taken from the top of a hill at Coit Tower, providing a 360 degree view of the city. I have to run...I'm at the airport and my seating group is getting called.

These birds must have been as entranced by the view as I was, allowing me to come within inches.

A Tree

A long and uncomfortable United flight took us to San Francisco for the next couple days. This was taken near The Presidio in San Francisco, CA.

The White House

You can't beat a solid photo of the White House. This was taken during my visit to Washington D.C. for a conference, and was shot from quite a distance away using a telephoto. While taking pictures, I noticed one of the guys on the roof checking us out with his telescope.
